Samsung Electronics, a global market leader and award winning innovator in consumer electronics, home appliances and telecommunications, has made technological breakthroughs, with the Samsung PN59D8000 and PN60D8000 televisions. These Television were ranked the highest in Color Accuracy – with a score of 9.07 out of 10, during an HDTV Shootout contest held inNew York.

Value Electronics inScarsdale,NYhosted the seventh annual HDTV Shootout. The contest is “a single room, no-holds barred battle of the top flat panel TVs, where a panel of experts is invited to rank and select “The Best HDTV of the year”. 

Chris Boylan – the Editor and Co-Founder of “Big Picture Big Sound” – the hi-tech website, proclaimed the PN59D8000 as his favorite-looking TV. He noted that both the PN59D8000 and UN60D8000 offered very good motion reproduction, whether the smooth motion features were engaged or not. The final rankings awarded the PN59D8000 as the best in Color Accuracy with a score of 9.07 out of 10. 

The HDTV Shootout brought the Top LED TVs against the Best Plasma TVs. The Samsung PND8000 Plasma TV comes with the additional features of a Web browser and a hi-tech fancy remote control. Samsung’s remote control app for iOS and Android is also a truly brilliant concept.
