Mobilink organizes blood donation drive to help dengue patients

Mobilink has organized the first employee driven private sector initiative in response to the ongoing dengue epidemic that has hit Pakistan. The company organized a blood donation drive in Lahore, donating blood for the treatment of dengue patients.

The blood donation drive was organized under the patronage of the Mobilink Foundation, in collaboration with Sundas Foundation. Employee volunteerism is a core value of Mobilink’s Culture of Excellence and employees are strongly encouraged to develop a humanitarian spirit. Mobilink Torchbearers have previously organized assistance for victims of natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, as well as blood donation drives for Thalassemia patients.

Mobilink appreciates the active role played by the Sundas Foundation in saving lives and facilitating transfusion and treatment for Dengue patients.

Mobilink Foundation is a reflection of the commitment of Mobilink and its employees to reshape lives of the community in which Mobilink operates. Established in 2007, the Mobilink Foundation is a non-profit organization, which provides support for the local community in the areas of health, education, environment and humanitarian assistance.  Being a philanthropic organization, it is purely based on employee volunteerism that enables the Foundation to spend every penny directly towards causes it is associated with.
