Apple Starts Hiring Temporary Staff for Suspected iPhone Launch

Apple has started placing adverts in recruitment websites seeking temporary salespeople specialising in its iPhone, fueling speculation that the company is gearing up for the launch of the iPhone 5 handset.

The advert is for “full-time iPhone Sales Staff for an exciting project to work 5 days a week (Tuesday-Saturday) for the period 16th August – 29th October within key retail stores”. There are several adverts covering different parts of the UK.

The company is suggesting a one week training session in London, which puts any possible product launch to late August after a sensible period to get used to working in the retail store.

The company is seeking people with “experience of selling/promoting mobile phones or possess advanced user experience of iPhone’s” (grocers apostrophe).
